Buttocks Implants for a New Great Look
The buttock is part of the body area that is not easily shaped or formed by using weight lifting or diet. If you are sick and tired of a flat and saggy buttock, then you should consider buttock implants. The result is almost guaranteed and you can even decide on the shape of your butt. The only set-back for most people to go for this implant is finances and time.
Buttock implants or buttock augmentation is a procedure performed by a small group of plastic and cosmetic surgeons by placing a solid silicone implants near the buttock area. The end result is to create a firm, solid and round buttock.
During the surgery, the buttocks implants are placed in areas near the buttock so that the buttock will look naturally firm. As the buttock is a main body part that does a lot of sitting, walking and other movements, the recovery may be more painful as compared to other cosmetic surgery and the time taken to recover will also be longer. Pain killers will be prescribed to patients undergoing this surgery and by one week’s time, patients will be able to move around, walk and sit by the side.
The surgery will take approximately two hours and after resting for another hour, patients will be allowed to go home. Do not worry too much about swelling and bruising like the normal surgery as it will be very little.
The result is almost instant as it can be seen right after the surgery. However, the muscle and the new implants need time to settle down and the full effect of this surgery may only be felt 6 to 8 months after the surgery. Generally patients can go back to their normal work schedule i.e. cycling, running and aerobics 4 weeks after the surgery.
You may need someone to stay with you for the first few days after the procedure. Normally this is the most difficult time as you may still feel the pain and are currently adjusting to the new buttock. You need help to get out from bed, someone to cook for you and help you to the toilet. Do get someone over to your place to help you. Once the dressing (placed during the surgery) is taken off two to three days after the surgery, you can then go to shower and do some normal activities.
Buttock implants is not without risk. Just like any other surgery, the possibility of infections is still there. The buttock implant procedure is not simple and it is very important that you find a good and experienced surgeon. Do check if they have performed any of this surgery and how often they do this.
Selecting a good surgeon is important as a poorly done surgery may give you a poor looking buttock. This will be disaster if you end up with a poorly constructed buttock after painstakingly going through the buttocks implants process. Do take your time and discuss with your surgeons. Do not rush into it and after talking to a few doctors, you will have a firm idea on the procedure and the risk involve. By then, you will be able to select a good surgeon for your nice firm buttock.
